The MSM7227 is a series system-on-a-chip manufactured by Qualcomm for handheld devices, especially smartphones. These SOCs from MSM7227 have multiple processing cores but unlike the contemporary processor chips these multiple cores are not available in the OS to run applications with symmetric multiprocessing properties, there is only one core to run the OS and user applications.
